The New Canon EF 24-70mm IS lens is coming! According to the latest rumors from CR2, Canon is now developing a new 24-70mm standard zoom lens with Image Stabilization: EF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS lens. However, we would not see such a lens in 2017, but it’s good to know that development continues.
They said, this new EF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS would be less in weight and size compared to the current version, because it is generally hard for the event photographers to carry and use the lens for 12 hours or more on some occasions.
