Last year I reported More Nikon Telephoto Lenses will Have Fluorine (FL) Coating, and now according to the latest rumors from NR, Nikon will officially announce two new FL lenses in the next two months.
- Nikon AF-S Nikkor 500mm f/4E FL ED VR
- Nikon AF-S Nikkor 600mm f/4E FL ED VR
Both two new lenses are expected to be lighter, smaller and more expensive than the current versions. The current Nikon 500mm f/4G ED VR ($8,295) and Nikon 600mm f/4G ED VR ($9,299) were announced back in 2007. It’s time to upgrade.
