It is a standard zoom for the company’s full-frame mirrorless cameras, featuring four aspherical elements (two of which are ‘advanced’) as well as three ED elements, a Direct Drive SSM focus motor, dust and moisture resistant and nine circular aperture blades and a filter diameter of 77mm. Sigma has just announced the new Sigma 16mm F1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens for Sony E and MFT mounts. This new lens is the world’s first interchangeable lens for mirrorless Sony E-mount cameras in the APS-C format to offer a 24mm focal length (35mm equivalent) and F1.4 brightness. According to the latest rumors from Nokishita, The newly announced Tamron 100-400mm F/4.5-6.3 Di VC USD Lens (new announced in Japan) will be available for pre-order on October 26th, 2017. It is already listed at B&H! This new lens is called Model A035 for Canon EF and Nikon F mounts. However, the price is not leaked yet.

Bryan Carnathan has just posted a detailed review of the newly released Tamron SP 24-70mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2 lens at the-digital-picture.com. This new lens is priced less than most of the competition such as Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Art lens. He tested it on Canon EOS 5DS R and Canon EOS-1DX Mark II and highly recommended it!
In the recent interview with Sony managers from Sony Japan, the Polish site Optyczne leaked that Sony is now developing longer telephoto full frame E-mount lenses. They may be the FE 135mm F1.8 GM and FE 400mm F2.8 GM lenses. Both are rumored to be announced in 2018.
Sony also said, they will never give up the productions of A-mount lenses, however, first of all they will extend the E-mount lens line up.
