What is the best everyday zoom lens for the Canon EOS R6?

i just got a canon r6 for my trip to nyc next week but i have no idea what im doing and im on a tight budget. i need one lens that can zoom for general photos.

Agreeing with the first guy, tho I'm honestly kinda disappointed with the f/7.1 aperture. It ramps up way too fast, which makes night shots in NYC pretty tough.Narrow f/7.1 aperture at the long endHeavy reliance on digital correctionsSTM isn't as snappy as USM Unfortunately, for your budget, Canon RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM is basically all that fits. I picked up the Canon RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM for a trip last fall and was honestly so satisfied with how it handled. It's light enough that I didnt get tired walking all day, which is a win in NYC. I'm really happy with the STM motor speed for budget glass. It works well for street shots and wont kill your wallet.
