Anyone seeing legit Black Friday leaks or deals for Canon mirrorless bodies yet? Im trying to finally upgrade my ancient Rebel T6 and I have about $1200 saved up for the body and maybe a kit lens. I really want to jump to full frame like the R8 or maybe the R7 for wildlife stuff since I live near a big nature preserve here in Oregon. I saw some bundles on Adorama but they include a bunch of cheap tripods and bags I dont actually need which makes the savings look kinda fake. B&H has a small discount on the R10 right now but I heard people saying last year the real deals didnt drop until Friday morning so I dont know if I should just wait...

Anyone seen any legit leaks for mirrorless bodies this Black Friday? Ive been shooting on an a6400 for like four years now and I finally need to upgrade to full frame because my clients are asking for better low light performance and the dynamic range just isnt cutting it anymore for these winter weddings I have booked. I'm looking at the Canon R6 II or the Sony A7IV but the prices right now are still sitting at MSRP and its stressing me out since I need this by my Dec 10th gig. I checked B&H and Adorama but their early deals are mostly just accessories and junk. Is anyone seeing price drops on actual bodies or should I just bite the bullet now and pay full price?

So I've been trying to get into photography because my phone just isnt cutting it for pictures of my golden retriever who never sits still and we are going on a big trip to Florida next month so I really want a real camera. Everyone keeps saying to get a Sony alpha but honestly looking at the website is so confusing there are like fifty different models and I dont really understand the difference between the a7 and the a6000 series they all look the same to me lol. My budget is pretty tight like maybe 900 bucks tops including a lens if that is even possible? I checked Best Buy and everything was way over that or just the body alone was more than my whole budget. I am kind of a complete newbie at this and I have no idea where to even start looking for a bargain without getting scammed on ebay or something. I really need to find a good price on the Canon R6 Mark II because my sister told me its the best for moving subjects and my baby is starting to crawl and I cant catch any good shots on my phone. Im so stressed about spending this much money though and I dont even know which websites are real or if they are scams. I see some for like 1800 but that seems way too low right? I have no idea where to start looking for real sales or what a normal price even looks like.

Budget: looking to stay under $2200 with a lens if thats even possible

Ive been shooting with my old 5D Mark III for years now and its finally starting to show its age, especially with the autofocus during darker wedding receptions. Im really looking to jump to the R6 Mark II before my busy season starts in June but the prices are all over the place right now. I have about $2100 saved up specifically for the body and I was hoping to find a solid bundle or just a straight discount since its been out for a bit.

I checked B&H and they have it for $2499 which is standard, but then I saw some random site having it for way less and I dont know if they are legit or if its a gray market thing where I wont get a warranty. Then there was that Canon refurbished drop everyone was talking about on Reddit where it hit $1999 but I missed it by like an hour and now its out of stock. I am so tired of looking at these prices honestly. I have been trying to upgrade my old DSLR to a mirrorless setup for months now but every time I look at the new models they are like two grand just for the body and I just cant justify that right now. My logic was that I could find a decent used Sony A7III or maybe a Fuji X-T3 for around 800 bucks because I have this big trip to Japan coming up in three weeks and I really want something lighter to carry around. But man the prices on eBay are actually insane people are asking for basically retail prices for gear that has a shutter count of like 100k it makes no sense. I checked MPB and KEH too and while they seem legit their excellent condition stuff is still way out of my budget and I am getting super frustrated with the whole process. I tried Facebook Marketplace but half the people dont reply and the other half seem like scammers asking for wire transfers or weird stuff. Is there some secret site or a specific forum where people actually sell gear for reasonable prices? I just want a reliable camera that wont break the bank before I leave. Honestly starting to think I should just stick with my heavy old Nikon and suffer through the back pain... where are the actual deals hiding?

I am freaking out a bit because my sisters wedding is coming up in mid-June and I really want to upgrade from my old Rebel T6 to something in the R series, maybe an R6 Mark II or even a used R5 if I can find a miracle. I have been looking everywhere but the prices are just so high right now and I only have about $1700 saved up which feels like nothing in the full frame world. I've been rocking the A7III for like four years now and it’s been a total beast but the autofocus is starting to feel a bit dated compared to what my second shooters are using these days. I finally decided it was time to pull the trigger on an A7IV so I can finally get that 10-bit 4:2:2 internal for some hybrid work I have coming up next month. Problem is I checked B&H and Adorama today and prices seem exactly the same as they were six months ago? I was really hoping for a spring sale or something because my budget is capped at around $2200 since I still need to grab a few more V90 cards to actually use the new bitrates without the camera yelling at me.

I’m based in Philly and usually go to local shops but even they’re holding firm on MSRP right now which is frustrating. Is there some hidden promo code or a specific bundle deal I’m missing somewhere? I’ve looked at the EDU discounts too but since I’m not a student anymore thats a no-go lol. I really need to get this ordered in the next week or so to get it rigged up before this big commercial shoot in June.
