What is the best all-around zoom lens for Canon EOS R5?

so tired of swapping primes while hiking in the wind its a total nightmare for my sensor and im over it. I have an Iceland trip in three weeks and my current kit is way too bulky.

Im looking to spend about 2500 max... whats the best all-around zoom lens for the R5 that actually stays sharp?

I need to buy a lens by tonight so it ships in time for my trip to Chicago next Friday. I only have about $150 to spend.

So I was thinking about the EF 50mm f1.8 STM because everyone says it is the best cheap lens, but my logic was that since the 90D is a crop sensor it becomes like an 80mm equivalent. That seems way too tight for street photos. But then I looked at the 24mm f2.8 pancake, which is wider, but some reviews say f2.8 isnt fast enough for low light.

I am stuck. Which one should I grab for walkaround shooting?

I'm stressing out trying to pick just one lens for my Z6 ii before my trip to Tokyo next month. I keep reading that the 24-70mm f4 S is the best value starter, but then everyone on Reddit says the 24-120mm f4 is way better for travel. But it looks so bulky and I want to travel light.

Here is what I need:

Budget: under $1000 (happy to buy used)

Use case: street photography at night and some hiking landscapes

Weight: needs to be easy to carry all day

Should I just get the 24-200mm superzoom instead or will I regret the low light performance?

I am so sick of my kit lens making everything look so soft and just... blah. I just got back from a weekend at the coast and looking at my photos on the big screen made me want to throw my 90D out the window lol. I have this huge trip to Zion coming up in like three weeks and I refuse to go with just the 18-135mm because the wide end just isnt wide enough for those massive canyon views and everything feels so cramped.

Im basically torn between getting the Canon 10-18mm STM or spending a bit more on the Tokina AT-X 11-16mm f/2.8. The Canon is way cheaper and lighter which is great for hiking but I keep hearing the Tokina is way sharper and better for astro if I decide to stay up late for the stars. Then there is the Sigma 10-20mm but I dont know if that is even worth looking at anymore since its an older design and might not keep up with the 32.5 megapixel sensor on the 90D.

My budget is capped at like $450 max because the trip itself is already costing a fortune for hotels and gear. Is the f/2.8 on the Tokina actually worth the extra weight and the weird clutch focus thing or should I just stick to the basic Canon glass and save the cash for gas and park fees? I just want something that wont make me regret taking the photo when I get home...

I really messed up and waited too long but my sisters wedding is next weekend in Seattle and she wants me to take portraits. I just got the Canon R8 and I have no idea how it works honestly. I only have the kit lens but someone told me I need a prime lens to get those blurry backgrounds. Im so confused by the numbers like 35mm or 85mm and dont want to buy the wrong thing.

I have $500 left and need to order it tonight so it arrives in time. Sorry if this is a dumb question but which prime lens is actually best for portraits on the R8? I just want her to look good...

Okay so I just bought a Nikon Z5 for my trip to Japan next month and I am kinda completely lost. I have never used a real camera before and all the lens options online are making my head spin. I dont want to carry a bunch of heavy gear around Tokyo, just one lens that can do a bit of everything like landscapes and maybe photos at night. My budget is pretty tight now, like $600 max.

Does anyone know where I can find an actual deal on the X-T5 body-only right now? Im seriously so over my old A7III, it keeps locking up mid-shoot and I just cant deal with it anymore, its honestly making me hate photography lately. I need to switch systems ASAP but every site I check is listed at $1,699. Im based in Chicago and have a trip coming up in ten days so I need this soon. I bought a used Nikon D3500 last month for a trip to Yellowstone in three weeks and I am already so frustrated trying to figure out what lens I need. The camera came with a basic lens but I cant zoom in on anything far away at all. I tried looking online but all these terms like DX, FX, focal length, aperture... it is seriously making my head spin and I feel so stupid. I just want to take decent photos of wildlife and landscape stuff without spending a fortune. My total budget is like $200 max, maybe $250 if it is really worth it because I already spent way more than I wanted to on the camera itself. I keep seeing all these different lenses online but I have no idea if they will even fit my camera or if they are garbage.

so i just got this panasonic s5ii camera because i want to take better pictures of people but honestly i am so lost with all these numbers. i have my sisters wedding coming up in three weeks in chicago and i really want to get those shots where the person is sharp but the background is all blurry and pretty but i dont even know what lens does that.

i think people call them prime lenses? like they dont zoom in or out right? that sounds kind of hard to use but everyone says they are better for portraits. my budget is maybe 700 or 800 dollars which is already a lot for me after buying the camera body. i was looking at some sigma lenses and then panasonic has their own but there are so many f-numbers like 1.8 and 1.4 and i have no clue if the 1.4 is worth the extra money or if it even fits my camera.

my logic was that a bigger number like 85mm would be better for faces but then i saw a 50mm and now im just overthinking everything and worried i'll buy the wrong one and ruin the wedding photos. is there one thats like... the easiest for a total beginner to get that professional look without being too heavy? i am really panicking because i dont want to waste my money on something i cant even use properly.
