Okay so I just got this Nikon Z camera thing and honestly im about to return it because I have no clue what I'm looking at. Every time I look for a lens I see all these f/4 or f/2.8 numbers and it makes zero sense to me. I just need one lens that works for everything because I'm heading to Japan next month and I dont want to be switching parts constantly.
- Budget: under $800 if possible
- Use case: street photos and maybe some food shots
- Weight: nothing too heavy please
Does a lens like this even exist or am I just dreaming? Everything seems so expensive and technical and I'm just getting frustrated trying to figure it out...
> I just need one lens that works for everything because I'm heading to Japan next month You might want to consider the Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 VR because it is a very safe choice. It covers everything so you wont need to swap parts. Just be careful in dark areas since the aperture is higher. It fits your budget and Nikon parts are usually very reliable... better to stick with what works.
