The ED 12-40mm F2.8 has exactly the same specifications as the current model, so it seems likely that there will be a small model change. The ED 40-150mm F4 PRO is extremely compact with a total length of 99.4mm, and it seems to be surprisingly cheap at 899 euros. Regarding the lens configuration, I feel that there are too many 19 lenses in 9 groups at this size, so it may be a mistake.
