Fujifilm has announced the XF 56mm F1.2 R APD. The lens is a variant of the existing XF56mm F1.2 R, utilizing the same underlying design of 11 elements in 8 groups but it adds an apodization filter. It will be available in December 2014 for about $1500.
Fujifilm has announced its first weather-resistant lens, the Fujinon XF 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR. The lens claims to have the world’s most advanced image stabilisation system, which uses high precision gyro sensors to give a claimed 5 stop benefit. It’s about $899.95.
