Sony’s FE 28-75mm F2.8 lens is coming. According to the latest rumors from SAR, Sony is planning to launch Sony FE 28-75mm F2.8 lens in the next month to compete with Tamron 28-75mm F2.8 Di III RXD lens and Sigma 28-70mm F2.8 DG DN Contemporary lens.
Tamron 28-75 and Sigma 28-75mm lens are very small and lightweight for a large-diameter standard zoom and seem to sell well.
However, until now, Sony had the impression that it was well separated from Tamron in the lens lineup, so it seems a bit surprising to put out a lens that competes with Tamron’s popular lenses.
