First leak image of the New Sigma 28-45mm F1.8 DG DN Art lens

After Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN II Art lens (B&H/ Adorama) has been officially announced, Sigma 28-45mm F1.8 DG DN Art Lens is scheduled to be announced in June! This is the first image of the upcoming Sigma 28-45mm f/1.8 DG DN Art lens, leaked at SAR. It will be the world’s first full frame autofocus zoom lens.

Sigma 28-45mm F1.8 DG DN Art lens will just be barely under 1kg. The Filter size will be 82mm.

This seems like a perfect replacement for the 24-35mm F2 lens with low light on-location video. However, many people think it will be awful zoom range, huge and heavy even rather than 2 primes.

As more specs information becomes available, it will be interesting to see how well this lens will performs.
