losing my mind looking at prices today. need the a7 iv for a wedding in NY next month but my $2500 budget is making it hard. torn between the basic kit or just getting the body and a used prime... are there any hidden bundle deals anywhere or am I just gonna pay full price?

Yo! Stumbled on this today and honestly, dont bother with kit bundles, they're trash for weddings. Total waste. Since your budgets tight, try this:
- Sony Alpha 7 IV Mirrorless Camera Body (Used/Refurbished)
- Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG DN Art for Sony E Grab a used body to save cash for that Sigma prime! The f/1.4 aperture is amazing for low light in those NY venues. Check sites like MPB for deals, they're fantastic for staying under $2500!!

Unfortunately you arent gonna find many real bundle deals on the Sony Alpha 7 IV Mirrorless Camera. Sony keeps those prices locked down tight. I tried finding a discount recently and it was basically full price everywhere, super disappointing.
- skip the kit lens, its not as good as expected for professional wedding shots.
- check for open-box units at retailers like Adorama to save a few hundred. Better to buy the body and a used Sony FE 50mm f/1.8 lens to start.
