Are there any good Black Friday deals on Canon cameras?

Been rocking my old Rebel T6 for way too long now and honestly the noise at ISO 800 is just killing me lately. I finally saved up about $1500 for a proper mirrorless setup and I'm trying to time it right with Black Friday coming up. Im mostly shooting street stuff and some local hiking trails here in Oregon where it's basically always gray and dim so I need something that can handle it.

Right now Im torn between the EOS R8 and the R7. The R8 is full frame which sounds amazing for the low light stuff I deal with but that tiny battery scares me a bit and I've heard the weather sealing isnt the best for our rain. Then there's the R7 which has the dual slots and better IBIS but its a crop sensor. I saw a bundle on B&H for the R8 with the 24-50mm lens for like $1300 but I'm wondering if I should hold out for a better body-only deal so I can grab a better prime lens instead.

Do you guys think the prices are gonna drop even more on actual Black Friday or are these early deals usually as good as it gets for Canon gear? I really dont want to miss out if the stock runs low but I also dont wanna kick myself if it drops another $200 next week...

I learned the hard way that one pack wont cut it for long trails... you'll definitely need a spare. Quick tip: skip the kit lens and look for the Canon RF 35mm f1.8 IS Macro STM. I would suggest going that route since it handles dim light way better than a slow zoom.

I am satisfied with Canon refurbished gear. Its a methodical way to save money safely.

Tbh I was in your exact shoes last year trying to time the sales and I've been super satisfied with how it played out. Pulling the trigger a week early worked out because the prices didn't really budge much more on the actual day. Just a huge warning tho, if you're hiking in Oregon like I do, you really gotta watch out for the weather sealing on some of those lighter full frame bodies. I was out near Silver Falls last winter and my buddy's gear started acting wonky just from the heavy mist alone. It's a total nightmare when the buttons start sticking or the sensor fog gets you. Honestly, being happy with your gear in the rain is worth the extra cost. Also, dont get lured in by those cheap kit lens bundles... they're usually way too slow for our gray skies.
