What lens should I get for my new Fujifilm X-S20 if I want to just carry one around for everything? Sorry if this is a total newbie question but I am honestly so lost looking at all the numbers and specs online. I just bought the camera body a few weeks ago after reading a bunch of blogs but now I dont even know what to put on the front of it. I live in Chicago and I really want to start taking photos of the city architecture and maybe some portraits of my friends when we go out for dinner or drinks, but the lens that came with the kit just isnt doing it for me, especially when I try to zoom in on things across the street. My budget is around 800 bucks maybe a little more if its worth it but I really cant go crazy. I have a trip to visit my parents in late October and I am terrified I am going to miss all the good shots because I have no idea what I am doing. Is there a zoom lens that isnt too heavy and works well for a beginner like me? I just want something that covers a lot of ground without me having to switch lenses all the time because I am scared I am gonna drop something or mess up the sensor...
