Are Sigma Art lenses better than Lumix S Pro for L-mount?

Look I'm honestly so fed up with my Lumix S Pro 50mm right now like dont get me wrong the glass is beautiful but my wrist is literally killing me after every shoot. I do a lot of street photography around London and lugging this brick around is just becoming a massive chore and I feel like I'm missing shots because the AF hunts way more than it should for a lens that cost me nearly two grand. I'm seriously ready to just sell the whole kit and switch to Sony if I cant find a better lens option for my S5II. I keep seeing people rave about the Sigma Art series lenses and how they're much more manageable but is the image quality actually gonna hold up? I have a wedding coming up in three weeks and I need to figure out if I should dump this S Pro glass for the Sigma 35mm or 50mm Art instead. Are they actually better or am I just gonna be dealing with the same bulky issues? Like is the autofocus faster on the Sigmas because honestly I'm at my wits end with the Lumix stuff constantly missing focus on eyes during portraits. Is it worth the switch or am I just dreaming that it gets better than this...
