Honestly, skip the bulk if you're shooting outside in Seattle. I've lugged heavy glass around the Pacific Northwest for years and trust me, you'll want the weight savings. The Panasonic Lumix S 85mm f/1.8 is plenty sharp for portraits and the weather sealing is a lifesaver when that drizzle starts. It balances way better on the S series bodies too. If you go with the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG DN Art, you get that extra stop of light, but it gets annoying to carry all day. Stick to the native Lumix glass, save the cash for a good jacket or a ND filter, and you'll be much happier roaming around the city. Less gear fatigue means better photos, plain and simple.
Regarding what #2 said about crop mode, definitely check out the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG DN Art. It offers a wider perspective for environmental portraits if you want more versatility.
Are you shooting full frame or using crop mode? I absolutely love the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG DN Art for the extra light, but are you sure you need that extra bulk?
