What is actually the best all-around lens for a Nikon DSLR because Im honestly at my wits end with this kit lens? I have a D7500 and I am just so sick of the constant softness and how it struggles in anything other than bright sunlight. Im heading to a family wedding in Chicago next month and I feel like if I have to try and fix one more blurry shot in lightroom Ill just lose it. I need something that can handle indoor reception lighting and maybe some wider shots of the venue without needing to carry a giant bag of primes everywhere. My budget is around 600 bucks give or take but I really dont want to spend a fortune if I dont have to. Ive looked at the Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 and the Nikon 18-140mm but I cant tell if the extra range is worth losing that constant aperture. Is there a better option that wont break the bank? I just want to take decent photos for once without fighting my gear the whole time. Im pretty desperate here since the event is creeping up fast and I dont have much time to return something if I make a bad choice...
