According to the latest rumors from NR, Nikon will announce a new Nikkor Z 400mm f4.5 mirrorless lens very soon.
It is rumored that Nikon will announce a new Z 400mm f4.5 lens in the very near future. The official announcement is expected this month (June), but the exact date is not yet known.
The new Z 400mm lens is very compact, as you can see from the roadmap image (pictured above). With a total length of 23 cm and a weight of 1,250 g, it is almost the same size as the Nikkor Z 70-200 mm f2.8 (21,98 cm, 1,360 g) and the Nikkor Z 100-400 mm f4.5-5.6 (22.2 cm, 1,435 g). ..
The new 400mm lens will be in the S line, and you can expect very high performance. By the end of the year, several other lenses will be announced (Nikon promises to have more than 50 Z lenses by 2025).
Nikon will also announce a new APS-C mirrorless camera in the near future.
