Panasonic has just officially announced the new Panasonic Lumix S 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 Macro O.I.S lens for L-mount bodies. Of its 17 elements, it sports one ultra extra-low dispersion, one ultra-high refractive index and two extra-low dispersion lenses. Its focus group is driven by a linear motor. The lens has a minimum focal length of 0.54m at its wide end and a max magnification of 0.5x at 300mm. This new lens costs $997.99 at Amazon /Adorama and $1,249 at B&H. It will start shipping from April 18, 2021.
