Sigma has officially confirmed the development of the 85mm F1.2 DG DN | Art, an ultra-fast portrait prime lens designed for full-frame L-mount and E-mount mirrorless cameras. Promising exceptional sharpness and ethereal background separation at its maximum aperture, this lens joins Sigma’s elite f/1.2 Art series lineup. Currently in development, the super-speed telephoto is expected to launch in September 2026, offering professional photographers a premium medium-telephoto option for portraiture and low-light work. Further specifications and pricing will be revealed closer to the release date.
