I need to find where the best sales are happening for a mirrorless camera right now because I’m totally lost looking at all these websites. Sorry if this is a really basic question but I honestly have no idea where to start with all this stuff. I’ve been trying to do some research but the numbers and all the different brands like Sony and Fujifilm just make my head spin and I cant tell what is actually a good deal versus just marketing fluff.

I am trying to stay under $800 for everything. That includes the glass part... the lens? I saw some listings that said body only and I almost bought one before I realized it wouldnt even take a picture without the extra part. That would have been a total disaster lol. I’m going on a big hiking trip to the Smoky Mountains in about three weeks and I really want to take some nice photos of the mist and the trees that aren't just blurry shots from my old iPhone. I live in a small town in Oregon so I mostly have to shop online since there arent any real camera stores near me besides a Best Buy that is like two hours away.

Are there specific sites that have deal of the week things or maybe refurbished sections that are actually trustworthy for a beginner? I am kind of nervous about buying used stuff if I dont know what to look for but if it saves me money I might try it. Does anyone know if there are sales going on right now specifically?...
