Canon RF 35mm F1.4L USM lens is scheduled to be announced very soon, likely in late this month to early May, along with EOS R5 Mark II and EOS R1. According to the latest news from CR, this new lens will have some video features.
Canon RF 35mm F1.4L USM lens will be probably the most anticipated lens announcement in a long time from Canon. The official announcement may be this month or perhaps in mid-May.
This new lens would have video features, but since it is a prime lens, it probably doesn’t get the “Z” moniker that are on the Canon RF 24-105mm f/2.8L IS USM Z and the upcoming Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Z.
This new “video features” are to do with autofocus modes. There will be new ways to use autofocus and manual focus on the upcoming prime.
