Honestly im just so fed up with my kit lens right now. I was out trying to shoot some architecture downtown yesterday and I literally could not get the whole building in the frame no matter how far back I stepped. It was driving me insane because the 18mm just isnt cutting it for the real estate work I promised a client for next week. I feel like im hitting a wall every single time I go out to shoot and its honestly making me want to just leave the 90D in the bag and quit. I dont have a massive budget here, maybe 400 bucks max, and I really need something that can handle tighter spaces without breaking the bank. Does anyone have a suggestion for a wide angle that actually works well on the 90D? Im tired of these soft corners and vignetting. Should I look for a used Tokina or is there a Sigma that doesnt suck? I just need something reliable before my shoot on Tuesday...
Honestly, grab a used Tokina AT-X 11-16mm f/2.8 Pro DX II. It is super sharp for the price and fits the 90D perfectly for real estate work. Total game changer.
If you want another solid option, check out the Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 EX DC HSM. It works well for tight spaces and ive been super satisfied with the results.
