Honestly im just so fed up with my current setup. I upgraded to an R6 mark ii about six months ago hoping for a huge jump in quality but my shots just arent hitting that mark, especially for portrait work. The lens I bought with the kit is fine for travel but it just lacks that creamy bokeh and sharpness I see everyone else getting. Every time I look at my files from a shoot I feel like Im missing that professional punch. Im located in Chicago and I have about 1000 bucks saved up to fix this mess before I have a big family session coming up next month and I cant keep delivering these flat images.

Is there actually a decent prime lens that wont cost me my entire savings account for these R bodies? I feel like the RF glass is either super cheap and plasticky or costs as much as a used car.
