> I'm looking for lenses that will deliver excellent image quality, fast autofocus, and solid low-light performance to take full advantage of the R5's capabilities. stumbled onto this late but honestly those big zooms are killer. only problem is your bank account is gonna hate you lol. i think you could probably get away with some of the lighter non-l options for travel and landscape stuff. maybe the r5 sensor is high-res enough that you dont always need the red ring glass to get a sharp shot. not sure if youve thought about the adapted ef route yet? autofocus is actually faster on the r5 than it was on the old dslrs iirc. seems like a much safer way to build a kit without blowing your entire budget in one go. definitely worth a look. just be careful about overspending early on.
