Where is the best place to snag a deal on a Canon R6 Mark II or R8 this Black Friday? I'm finally upgrading from my old T3i and I'm so stoked! I saw bundles on B&H but heard the Canon refurbished site has better drops? My budget is strictly $1500 and Chicago tax is gonna kill me...

Man, coming from a T3i is gonna feel like stepping into a spaceship!! You're gonna be absolutely blown away by the autofocus and low light performance on these newer sensors. Honestly, the Canon Refurbished site is the only place you should be looking if your budget is firm at fifteen hundred. I've grabbed so many bodies and lenses from there over the years and they literally arrive looking like they never left the factory. B&H bundles are okay sometimes but they usually just throw in a cheap bag or a slow SD card you dont really need anyway... total waste of money tbh. If you want the Canon EOS R6 Mark II Mirrorless Camera Body Only, $1500 is gonna be super tight with that Chicago tax, ngl. It usually hovers around $1800-1900 on refurb sales. But the Canon EOS R8 Mirrorless Camera Body Only is a total steal right now! I've seen it drop as low as $1000 refurbished during major holiday sales. Use the extra cash to grab a decent lens like the Canon RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM Lens or a nice prime. Pro tip: call the Canon sales line and ask about the Loyalty Program. Since you have a T3i serial number, they can often shave off another 10 or 20 percent from the refurbished price. It is the absolute best way to stay under budget while getting amazing gear. Just be ready to click buy fast because those drops sell out in like ten minutes!!
