Does anyone know where to find the absolute best discounts on Sony mirrorless bodies right now because I am striking out everywhere I look. I have been shooting on an A7III for years so I am pretty familiar with the ecosystem but I finally decided it is time to upgrade to the A7IV before I head out to Chicago for a wedding gig next month. Usually I just hawk B&H or Adorama but the prices are just... stuck? Like they havent budged in months and even the educational discounts I used to use arent hitting the same way anymore. My budget is capped at $2400 for the body since I also need to pick up a new prime lens but man every site is showing the exact same MSRP.

Is there some secret refurbished outlet or a specific day of the week when Greentoe actually accepts lower bids? I checked eBay but honestly I am a bit nervous about the shutter count on some of those used units and I really need this thing to be reliable for the client work I have coming up. Are there any local shops or maybe less-known authorized dealers that actually run real sales instead of just following the Sony MAP pricing strictly? Just trying to figure out if I should wait another week or if this is just how it is now...
