Where the heck can I find the deepest discounts on refurbished Nikon Z cameras right now because it feels like everything is just gone? Ive been shooting Nikon glass for over a decade, transitioned from my trusty D850 to the Z system about two years ago with a Z6ii but man, finding a backup body is becoming a nightmare. I have a huge wedding gig in Chicago this July and I desperately need a second body—ideally a Z7ii for the extra resolution—but my budget is strictly capped at $1,500 and the market is just insane lately.

I used to rely on Adorama or B&H for those sweet factory recertified deals where you could save like 30% but now when they do have stock it’s barely a $100 discount off the brand new price which just feels like a ripoff for a used unit. Even the Nikon official refurb store is a total ghost town or filled with entry level stuff I dont need. I checked MPB and KEH too but their - excellent - condition bodies are priced higher than what Nikon sells refurbs for... when they actually have them in stock. Is there some hidden gem retailer I’m missing or does everyone just wait for those random 10% off sales on the official site? I really dont want to risk a random eBay seller for a professional job but I’m getting desperate...
