ok I need to pull the trigger on a new 50mm before my trip to Japan next month and Black Friday is literally days away. Ive shot with the nifty fifty for years but need an upgrade. Which Sony 50mm (f1.2 GM, f1.4 GM, or the 1.5 ZA) usually gets the biggest price drop? My absolute limit is 1200 bucks. Which one is gonna see a real discount?

TL;DR: Grab the Sony FE 50mm f1.4 GM if it dips, or save cash with the Sigma 50mm f1.4 DG DN Art instead. In my experience, you cant go wrong with third party glass if budget is tight. Shooting all day in Japan gets heavy fast, so lighter alternatives are a lifesaver. Stick to your 1200 limit and dont stress the GM too much.
