Looking for the best budget wide-angle lens for my Lumix S1.

Ive shot on MFT for years but just jumped to the S1 and these L-mount prices are killing me. Got a real estate gig this Friday and my 24-105 just isnt wide enough for the tiny bathrooms.

My budget is capped at 500 bucks right now. Whats the best cheap wide-angle that wont look like garbage?

Wait, are you doing video walkthroughs or just stills? if its just photos, the 7Artisans 15mm f/4.0 Full Frame ASPH L-mount works surprisingly well. Im satisfied with how it handles field curvature. For real estate, you want those lines straight and this lens delivers if you stop down to f/8. its fully manual but honestly, the hyperfocal distance is so forgiving at 15mm that you wont miss autofocus at all.

I would suggest checking out the Venus Laowa 14mm f/4 FF RL Zero-D L-mount because that zero distortion spec is huge for real estate work. Just be careful since its fully manual on your S1. You might also look into:

Panasonic Lumix S 20-60mm f/3.5-5.6 L-mount

Sigma 20mm f/2 DG DN Contemporary L-mount used Make sure to watch for corner vignetting at f/4, tho. Let me know if you need more specs!
