what is the best travel zoom lens for a sony camera? im going to japan in two weeks and honestly i have no idea where to start or what i even need.
my budget is $800 and i need something that can see far away and also close up... sorry if this is a dumb question im just really stressed out

In my experience, Tamron 28-200mm f/2.8-5.6 Di III RXD is the best value. I took mine to Kyoto and it killed it.
