A new Nikon super telephoto prime lens is coming! According to the latest rumors from NR, Nikon will soon announce a new Nikkor 600mm F5.6 PF lens. The announcement date is most likely in June to August 2018.
This new lens is rumored to be shorter (33cm) than the current Nikkor 600mm F4 E FL ED VR lens (43cm). It is also expected to be significantly lighter and cheaper than the current 600mm f/4 version which weights 3.8kg and costs $12,296.95.
