We are told the new Nikon NIKKOR Z 800mm f/6.3 VR S lens will be announced soon, possibly before the 2022 CP+ show in Japan (February 22-27).
This new lens is now listed at B&H , but the price is not leaked yet.
B&H has already published the product page for the Nikon Nikkor Z 800mm f / 6.3 VR S, so it’s safe to say that this lens will be officially announced in the near future. This lens uses a PF lens and has a slightly smaller aperture than before, so it looks like it will be a compact and easy-to-use lens. The rest is where the price is worrisome.
