Sigma has just officially announced the new Sigma 50mm F2 DG DN Contemporary lens for Sony E and Leica L mounts. It is a new normal prime for full frame camera systems with a high-speed stepping motor for smooth and quiet focusing during video recording. It has three aspherical lens elements along with a single special low dispersion element, nine rounded aperture blades and a minimum focus distance of 45cm/17.8in.
This new lens cost $639, first available for pre-order at B&H/ Adorama.
