Sigma 90mm F2.8 DG DN Contemporary Lens Announced, Priced $639, Available for Pre-Order

Along with the new Sigma 24mm F2 DG DN Contemporary Lens (B&H/ Adorama), Sigma also announced the new Sigma 90mm F2.8 DG DN Contemporary lens. It is a compact, premium prime lens for Sony FE and Leica L mounts. It has a total of 11 elements, including one aspherical and five SLD elements. A stepping motor is used to drive the focus unit on the 90mm.The minimum focus distance on this lens is 0.5m (19.7″), with a max magnification of 0.2x. The lens includes both pinch-type and magnetic caps.

This new lens costs $639, first available for pre-order at B&H/ Adorama.
