The Taiwanese website Mobile01 has just posted a full review of the new released Sony Planar T* FE 50mm F1.4 ZA lens. Compared to the Sony 55mm F1.8 Sonnar T* FE ZA, this new zeiss is even sharper.
Verdict from Mobile01, “The lens has almost zero distortion, little purple fringing, as well as little coma… the only shortcoming is the not so fast autofocus… the lens is bulky and heavy but the performance is worthy of its price…”
