Canon has just announced EF 35mm F1.4L II USM lens (Amazon| Adorama| eBay). According to the latest rumors from CR forum, the new Canon EF 50mm F1.2L USM II lens will be announced next year.

This is the current Canon EF 50mm F1.2L USM lens released in 2007 and now its successor EF 50mm F1.2L USM II lens is rumored to be announced next year after the EF 35mm f/1.4L II lens.

We are told the new design of Canon EF 50mm F/1.2L lens wil be announced in late 2015 to early 2016.
