Canon has just announced EF 35mm F1.4L II USM lens (Amazon| Adorama| eBay). According to the latest rumors from CR forum, the new Canon EF 50mm F1.2L USM II lens will be announced next year.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L USM Lens, announced in 2006, recently has got a big price drop and is moved away from Canon USA website EF len lineup.
The new Canon EF 50mm F1.2L USM II lens is rumored to be slightly smaller, and a bit heavier than the current version.
