Ricoh has just officially announced the new HD Pentax-DA* 16-50mm F2.8 ED PLM AW lens. It is a premium wide-angle zoom for the company’s APS-C bodies, featuring ED and anomalous glass elements as well as an HD coating to reduce flare and ghosting. The lens uses a “PLM” pulse motor to drive the focus group. The minimum focus distance is 30cm, with a max magnification of 0.24x. The lens features a “quick shift” system to quickly switch between auto and manual focus.

Cosina has just officially announced the new Voigtlander NOKTON 35mm F1.2 lens for Fujifilm XF mount. It is a large aperture standard lens designed exclusively for the Fujifilm X mount. The lens configuration uses a traditional double-Gauss type. A large aperture of F1.2 is realized in the style of “8-element” in which all lenses arranged almost symmetrically around the aperture position are composed of spherical surfaces.
