Canon has just announced the new Canon RF 50mm F1.4 L VCM lens.  It is part of the expanding Hybrid lens series, targeting a wide range of still-image and video shooters, with a combination of standard-angle coverage, a fast f/1.4 maximum aperture, and excellent optical design. It costs $1,399, first available for pre-order at B&H/ Adorama.
