Can anyone point me toward a decent wide-angle lens for the R10 that doesnt cost a fortune? Im honestly so fed up with my kit lens right now, it feels like I have to stand in the neighbors yard just to get a shot of my own kitchen for these real estate listings I do. Im working on a super tight budget here in Chicago and I have a shoot coming up next week so I need something fast. Is there anything that actually works well with the crop sensor without breaking the bank? Every review I see online just pushes those overpriced RF-S lenses that dont even feel that wide to be honest...

In my experience, trying to squeeze a whole room in just ends up being stressful. Since youre on a tight budget in Chicago, dont bother with the expensive stuff yet. Check out the Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM. You will need the Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R to make it fit your R10, but its honestly a lifesaver. It is super sharp for the price and gets you that wide look you need. I used this combo for years before upgrading. Just keep an eye on the used market, you can find them for a steal.
Totally agree with the previous advice, shooting interiors without a proper wide lens is just painful! If you want something ultra-wide on a budget, look at the Samyang 12mm f/2.0 AF. It is manual focus usually, but honestly for real estate you dont really need AF anyway. It is super sharp and the field of view is fantastic for tight kitchens. Youll save a ton of cash compared to those RF-S options!
To add to the point above: I am in the exact same boat with my R10. Ive been trying to shoot small spaces for months and it is honestly so frustrating because nothing seems wide enough without being crazy expensive. I feel your pain, I really do.
