What is the best all-around zoom lens for Canon EOS R5?

I've looked at the 24-70mm f2.8 but it’s just so expensive and heavy for my hiking trips. People say the 24-105mm f4 is more versatile but I’m worried about low light for my sister's wedding in October.

Quick reply while I have a sec. Honestly, I'd be real careful taking an f/4 to a wedding unless you are cool with cranking the ISO through the roof. Even with the R5 sensor being a beast, you're gonna see some grain in those dark reception halls. I would suggest considering this combo to stay under budget:Canon RF 24-105mm f4 L IS USM for your hiking and landscapes. It is light and the range is basically perfect for travel.Canon RF 50mm f1.8 STM for the wedding. It is tiny, dirt cheap, and handles low light way better than any zoom in your price range. You could buy both new and still be way under that $2000 limit. Definitely check out the website The-Digital-Picture too... they have a great tool to compare lens sharpness side-by-side. Definitely go with the Canon RF 24-105mm f4 L IS USM! Its fantastic for long hikes and the R5 IBIS makes low light shots amazing. Love it!
