Been eyeing the r6 mark ii for my wedding season starting in january and really trying to snag a deal. I saw a post on adorama for a discount but it's only for the kit lens bundle and i already have my ef glass so thats kinda pointless for me. My budget is strictly 2k.
My logic was to wait for the actual day but then i read that canon usually does better refurbished sales than black friday price drops on new gear... so i was thinking about holding off but i'm worried the body-only kits will just sell out everywhere. Do you think the price will actually drop lower than the 2299 i'm seeing right now?
Honestly, I'm super satisfied with my Canon EOS R6 Mark II Body Only. It'll likely hit $1,999 soon.

Regarding what #3 said about being happy with the body, I honestly think you should just pull the trigger if you see it dip near that 2k mark. I have been using the Canon EOS R6 Mark II Full Frame Mirrorless Camera Body for a while now and honestly, the reliability is just night and day compared to my older gear. TL;DR: Keep a tab open on CamelCamelCamel to track the actual price history, dont overthink the holiday sales. Check the Canon Price Watch forums too, they have a massive spreadsheet updated by users that tracks historical lows much better than the big retailers. Seriously, just snag it once it hits your budget, no point in stressing over a hundred bucks when you have a full wedding season ahead of you. It works well and I have had zero regrets.
