Honestly so fed up with my old Rebel T7i, it keeps hunting for focus during my sons basketball games and I am just missing every single layup shot. Im ready to finally make the jump to mirrorless because I cant deal with the blurry mess anymore. I was looking at the EOS R6 Mark II or even the R8 because my logic was that the autofocus on those would actually keep up but man the prices are just not moving. Ive been checking B&H and Adorama like every hour but everything still says coming soon for the real discounts or the bundles are just garbage with printers I dont need.

I have about $1800 saved up and I really need to pull the trigger by Friday so I can have it for the holiday tournament next week here in Chicago. Is anyone seeing actual leaks or early access stuff for Canon? Usually they have those instant rebates but right now it feels like theyre just holding out on us and I am starting to panic that I missed some secret code or something. Like is the R7 even worth considering if I mostly do indoor sports or should I just hold out for an R6 deal? If I dont find something in the next 48 hours I might just lose it and buy a used body but I really wanted that warranty...
