Honestly, buying a brand new pro DSLR two weeks before a wedding is gonna be stressful, but you can definitely do it if you stick to something user friendly. You really dont need to spend a grand to get great shots. Here is what I would look for:

- This is perfect for beginners. The menus are super intuitive and it handles skin tones really well for portraits.
- Nikon D3500 24.2MP DSLR
- Battery life is insane on this one. It feels a bit sturdier than the Canon and the image quality is crisp. Personally, I prefer the Canon system because the kit lens is easy to learn on. Just grab a cheap 50mm prime lens later if you want that blurry background look. Good luck!
