Does anyone know what the best OLED TV deals are going to be for Amazon Prime Day this year?

I am trying to plan ahead because my old living room TV just died and I have no idea what I am doing here. Everyone says to get an OLED but looking at Amazon makes my head spin with all the model numbers and letters like C4, B4, S90D, whatever they mean. It is just so frustrating trying to compare them when they all look exactly the same to me and the prices are all over the place.

My budget is strictly under $1200 since I just had to pay for car repairs, and I need to buy it during the Prime Day sales because we currently have literally nothing to watch in our new apartment in Columbus. It is going in a fairly dark basement living room and we mostly just watch Netflix and sometimes my son plays his PS5 on it.

Is it even possible to get a decent 65 inch OLED for that price during the sale or am I dreaming? Sorry if this is a stupid question I just feel completely lost with all this tech stuff...

Unfortunately, prices have stayed high this year and manufacturers are cutting corners on entry-level models, which is pretty disappointing. I recently set up the LG B4 65-Inch 4K OLED TV for a friend and honestly, it was not as good as expected out of the box. The color calibration was off and the smart platform felt pretty sluggish compared to older sets I have owned. Still, for a dark basement and a PS5, this model is your best realistic bet under $1200. It has four HDMI 2.1 ports which is great for gaming, and in a dark room, the lower peak brightness won't matter as much. Keep an eye out on Prime Day because the LG B4 65-Inch 4K OLED TV should dip to around $1100. If you can stretch your budget, look for the LG C4 65-Inch 4K OLED TV instead, though unfortunately, it rarely drops below $1300.
