Fujifilm XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 R LM OIS is ideal for diverse photography styles, from landscapes to portraits and Fujifilm XF 35mm f/2 R WR offers a classic 53mm equivalent, perfect for street photography and portraits.

Fujifilm X-T50 is an excellent mirrorless camera that pairs well with various lenses, enhancing its capabilities. The best lenses for Fujifilm X-T50 include the XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 R LM OIS for versatile zoom, the XF 35mm f/1.4 R for low-light portraits, and the XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS for wide-angle shots.

For everyday shooting and travel, I've found the Fujinon XF 16-80mm f/4 R OIS WR to be an excellent choice. The versatile focal range covers most of my needs, from wide-angle landscapes to short telephoto portraits. The constant  aperture and weather-resistant construction are also great features. While it's a bit pricier than the XC 15-45mm, I believe the superior image quality and handling make it worth the investment.

When it comes to wide-angle shooting, the Fujinon XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS WR has become my go-to lens. The ultra-wide perspective is perfect for capturing expansive landscapes and architectural shots. The  aperture and optical image stabilization help in low-light situations, and the weather-resistant build is a bonus for outdoor photography.

For those interested in macro photography, I highly recommend the Fujinon XF 60mm f/2.4 R Macro. While it may not offer a true 1:1 magnification ratio, the 0.5x maximum magnification still allows for stunning close-up shots. The  aperture is also great for low-light shooting and creating beautiful bokeh.

My top three Fujifilm lenses are:

  1. Fujifilm XF 33mm f/1.4: My first new Fuji lens, improving on the magical 35mm f/1.4 with faster autofocus and sharper images. Its versatile focal length suits almost any situation, making it a joy to use.

  2. Fujifilm XF 70-300mm: My go-to wildlife lens. While it doesn't match the reach of longer zooms, it's sharp, versatile, and incredibly portable. I prefer it over the 100-400mm for its handheld comfort during extended shoots.

  3. Viltrox 75mm f/1.2: My favorite portrait lens, surpassing the Fuji 56mm options. It elevates APS-C to full-frame portrait quality, rivaling the Canon RF 85mm f/1.2 at a fraction of the cost. Shooting at f/1.2 beautifully separates subjects from backgrounds.

These lenses cover a wide range of photography needs, from everyday shooting to wildlife and portraits, making them indispensable in my kit.

I would like to choose Fujifilm XF 35mm f/1.4 R, Fujifilm XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 R LM OIS and XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR

These lenses pair well with the Fujifilm X-T50 and cater to a variety of photography styles, from portraits to landscapes and beyond.

For Fujifilm X-T50, a great prime lens is Fujifilm XF 35mm f/1.4 R. It's known for its sharpness, excellent low-light performance, and beautiful bokeh. For a zoom lens, Fujifilm XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 R LM OIS is highly recommended. It offers versatility in focal lengths, impressive optics, and good low-light capability, making it a perfect all-around lens for various shooting situations.

Building on the earlier suggestion about Sigma glass, I really think the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 DC DN Contemporary is probably the best fit for this specific body. The X-T50 is pretty tiny and some of the other zooms mentioned earlier are gonna feel way too front-heavy because the grip on this camera isnt exactly huge. I'd be careful about buying massive lenses right away without trying them. If you want to keep the kit really portable, you might want to consider the Fujinon XF 27mm f/2.8 R WR. It basically turns the camera into something you can actually fit in a jacket pocket. For something higher end that actually handles the high-res sensor well, I would suggest looking at the Fujinon XF 18mm f/1.4 R LM WR. It is a bit bigger, but the optics are incredible. Just make sure to check how it feels in your hand first... you might end up needing a thumb grip to stay comfortable. TL;DR: Stick to compact glass like the Sigma 18-50mm or the 27mm pancake to keep the X-T50 balanced. Large lenses can feel awkward on such a small body.

If I could only choose 3 lenses for my X-T50, I'd go with:

  1. XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR - Excellent pro-grade standard zoom with constant f/2.8 aperture. Covers a very useful range.
  2. XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR - The perfect tele zoom complement to the 16-55mm. Also weather sealed with fast f/2.8 aperture throughout the zoom range. The OIS is very effective.
  3. XF 23mm f/2 R WR or XF 35mm f/2 R WR - A compact prime in either 35mm or 50mm equivalent focal length, for when you want to travel light or shoot in lower light. Both are super sharp and focus quickly.

Sigma X mount lenses are also great for X-T50.
