Just grabbed the X-S20 for my Tokyo trip next month and I am so hyped! I cant decide between the 23mm f2 or the 35mm f2. I need something small for street stuff but my budget is strictly under $450 right now. Which one is better for a first prime?

Totally agree with the previous post, that wider focal length is much better for Tokyo. If you're hitting that $450 ceiling tho, honestly just look at third-party lenses from a brand like Viltrox. Their newer glass has solid contrast and the stepping motors are surprisingly snappy. Just get any wide prime from them and you'll be fine. Way better value than the native options if you're just starting out.
