Just grabbed the X-S20 for my Tokyo trip next month and I am so hyped! I cant decide between the 23mm f2 or the 35mm f2. I need something small for street stuff but my budget is strictly under $450 right now. Which one is better for a first prime?

I've been really happy with the Fujifilm Fujinon XF 23mm f/2 R WR and it's definitely the way to go for a Tokyo trip. While the Fujifilm Fujinon XF 35mm f/2 R WR is a solid piece of glass, it often feels way too tight for those narrow side streets and neon signs. The 23mm works well for capturing the scale of the city without being too wide. It fits your budget perfectly and the autofocus is fast enough that you wont miss many moments. Quick tip: just set your camera to aperture priority at f/5.6 during the day and let the lens do the work. Honestly, the size and weight of this setup is ideal for those 20k step days. Youll be satisfied with how light it feels on the Fujifilm X-S20 Mirrorless Camera.
