I just got an xpro3 because i loved the way it looks but i am a total beginner and pretty much have no idea what i am doing with it yet. i want to take it to tokyo next month to try some street photography but the different lenses are really confusing me. like i dont know if 23mm is better than 35mm or what the f stop thing even does.
here are some things i need:
- something small so it doesnt look scary
- budget is maybe 500 dollars tops
- easy for a total newbie to use
sorry if this is a dumb question but i really dont want to buy the wrong thing and waste my money... which prime lens would you guys start with?

Unfortunately, the larger f1.4 primes were a disappointment on this body because they block the optical viewfinder. For a beginner in Tokyo, keep it simple.
- Fujifilm Fujinon XF 23mm f/2 R WR: This is the ideal choice. Its fast and weather-sealed.
- Fujifilm Fujinon XF 35mm f/2 R WR: Sharp lens, but unfortunately the field of view is too narrow for tight streets. Buy the 23mm.
