Reliability is everything when you are out in the elements all day, so definitely make sure to keep your firmware updated regardless of the glass. Actually, speaking of gear reliability, I spent like four hours yesterday trying to fix a vintage espresso machine I picked up at a flea market. The seals were totally shot and I ended up getting descaling solution all over my kitchen floor. It was a complete disaster and now I have to replace the heating element, which is basically impossible to find parts for these days. Anyway lol, sorry kinda went off topic there.
